COVID-19
PARENT TEMPORARILY BECOMING DIRECT CARE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 EMERGENCY

In order to make sure families have the support they need during the COVID-19 emergency, DDD will temporarily allow family members who qualify, to become Direct Care Workers (DCW) and provide paid care to DDD members who are children. This means that a Parent, Step Parent, or other legally responsible people ("parent') may temporarily be hired by a Qualified Vendor Agency (QVA) to be a Direct Care Worker (DCW) for their child.

A service that provides short-term care and supervision consistent with the health needs of the
person to supplement care to provide a safe living environment and/or to support or relieve
caregivers for the benefit of the person.

to remain in his/her home and/or participate in work/community activities.

Services are designed to assist Division members in acquiring, retaining, and improving the self-
help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in the home and community-
based settings.
INDIVIDUAL-DESIGNED LIVING ARRANGEMENTS
IDLA
Individually designed living arrangements (IDLAs): Homes rented or owned by members of the community. IDLAs provide teaching support and personal care for members. This type of setting may also be called “Supported Living”.

Attention all current and former full-time employees: Your Form 1095-C (Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage) for the current tax year is available.
You do not need this form to file your tax return, however, it does contain important information about your health coverage for the past year that you may want to keep with your tax records.
